I am melting.

This morning I was at Trevor's house hanging out with him and drinking coffee after we got back from taking my cat to the vet to get neutered. I stumbled across this picture of him and his twin brother of when they were little..
I melted. LOOK AT THOSE LITTLE FACES. Trev is the one on the left. Look at his little long eyelashes (which he still has long eyelashes to this very day, and his green eyes are so vibrant and pretty.. but i digress), and his little blonde hair, and that little ornery smile.

I'm begging him to show me home videos of him when he was little. He was just soo friggin cute. (and still is!! <3)

some friends

When I moved to Altoona a year ago, I really didn't know anyone. It's hard to believe how many amazing people i've met up here in such a short amount of time. When Trevor and I started dating back in January/February, he introduced me to all of his friends and let me just say, we all instantly clicked.

First off, this girl (Janelle) happens to be one of my best friends now.
We both share a love for country music, getting dirty (like catching worms, fishing, and shooting guns), and Forever 21. We met through Trevor. She is dating Trevor's friend Brian so we double date often.

From left to right, Brian, Janelle, me, and Trev. Brian and Trevor are both in my nursing class with me so we study together a lot. But these three above are seriously the best.
Me, Brian, and Janelle

Then we have my NEXT two favorites...

Clinton and Chelsey.
Trevor's twin brother (obvs) and his girlfriend Chelsey have been together for 5 years now. They are so dang cute together. Chelsey was one of the last people I met in regards to Trevor's group of friends (which was weird because I hung out around Clint a lot), but we seriously hit it off right away. I consider her one of my good friends now. I love doing things with these three because we are always clutching our sides laughing so much. Trevor and Clinton are the biggest goofballs when they hang around each other. It's so much fun when there is a family dinner or event and us 4 all get to hang out!
Me, Trevor, Clint, and Chels at the guys house for a Labor Day lobster and margarita dinner!

I graduate nursing school in May and i've made the greatest friends here in Altoona, I cant imagine ever leaving. :)

Cat Tails

I got my cat, Simba, in July. He's technically still a kitten at 6 months old (and should definitely be classified as one by the way he attacks and bites everything). He is a medium haired cat. I definitely think he still has a lot of filling out to do with his fur. I'm anticipating him getting pretty fluffy.

Anyways, okay. Simba is weird. Maybe it's just kitten stuff, but the way he sleeps is weird, the way he sprints into walls at full speed is weird, the way he meows all the fricken time. Yeah, he definitely gets on my nerves the majority of the time (especially how he is trying to attack my fingers as I'm typing this post!) But then, he turns sweet and into this little cuddly thing that snuggles up to me in bed and I just completely forget how bad he's been.

This picture above is how he mostly greets me when I get home.

He messes up my rugs all the time, tries to attack his own shadow, gets into my bathroom makeup drawer, crawls behind it and then opens every door in that cabinet (how the heck he does that I have no clue). Oh, and also I have this hanging plant in my kitchen that he likes to climb on top of my table and bat at the vines. Nothing is safe in my house.
Above: the kitchen and the table he stands on, and then bats at the leaves on my plant.

But at the end of the day, he is still this sweet little kitten that LOVES to be picked up. One time I picked him up in my arms and sang the entire song of "We are never getting back together" to him while dancing around my kitchen. And he loved it.
Please excuse this really really awful picture of me, but this is how he LOVES to be held.

So, what i'm trying to say is, on October 8th Simba is going to get his man jewels taken away and turn into Nala if you are picking up what i'm putting down here. I really really am hoping he calms down after that. ;)

Hello out there

So, hi. This is my first blog post on my new blog. I'm no stranger to blogging though! I've been blogging for about three years now. I figured that I outgrew my other blog and it was time to start fresh and new here. So, what's up.

I've missed blogging for the months that I stopped. I've realized that I need an outlet. An outlet where I can write what i'm up to, how i'm feeling, and post pictures that correspond to it. sounds cool? right? blogging IS pretty cool.

so, about myself. my name is hilary. i'm a 21-year (almost 22!) old nursing student. yes, nursing student. i basically don't have a life. but, i DO have stress, and need to relieve it, that's where this blog comes in. i have a cat named simba who i'm sure will be in a lot of posts that i write. he is a crazy kitten. i moved to my college town about a year ago and i've met my best friends in the entire world up here. you can basically say that i found my niche, where i belong. i absolutely love it here. my friends are pretty cool. i'm looking forward to writing about them.

oh, and there is this guy named Trevor. he is sort of the most sarcastic, goofiest person on the planet. and i sort of really really care about him (a lot). i'm sure he will be on here from time to time ;)

so yes! that is basically it. i'm really looking forward to blogging again.

the end.
